Yep, Saturday rides are in full effect and the one just gone bordered on ‘epic’
Lead by Russ, we set off from Emerys road and headed up towards Mt Scanzi, some of us rode on two wheels and some decided nose manuals were a better option (or not in hindsight) The Burma fire trail was our destination and the site of more carnage (stay tuned because the video of this one should be up later in the week thanks to Russ and his GoPro)
The Captain and I headed out Sunday afternoon for a ride along the escarpment in the beautiful kangaroo valley as well.
If you want to have as much fun as we did why not get yourself a Felt like Mark, or a fancy Cannondale like Bobs weekend steed, the boys tear it up on their Cubes and my GT hasn’t missed a beat either!
Found this video this morning & realised that Glewy is in it. I sent him a message to see how it was going & he reckons those trails in the video were amazing. Stoked for him as its always good times on the road. Look out for Glewy on his blue Livin frame his got a couple little clips.

I finally got a cord that connected my phone to my laptop. I had heaps of random photos on there from adventures during riding. I shall share some as it might make you giggle or what not.

On the topic of things Australian we got a little re-stock of Aussie BMX company Tempered Bikes. Some new stuff like the Liiv Fast seat which comes in three sizes, Jerry’s new range of frame/bars called the Surefire & Benn Pigot’s new bars (29”w 9”h) called the Datura. All the new stuff looks incendiary plus they are bring out some new colours. Rad!
While Ammon was down he got himself a new Liiv Fast seat in fat. I asked him how it was & this is what he said…
“Yeah I put it on then looked up & there was a large circle of women around me asking for my number & what I was up to later that night. Must of been the seat? If not my my denim vest?”

Met some new dudes that ride around Wollogong which is also awesome! Bunch of local kids got real stoked on Ammon & Vocko coming down here, Riding with them & spreading the good word of BMX. I been lazy with posting sorry guys… But I have here a little video I found of two local kids who support the shop. Bunyip & Ringy as I like to call them, Props to you guys! I also have heaps & heaps of photos for you over the last week which I shall put up when I have a chance.
Sometimes I do many things to keep the fun levels high in my life. Ride bike, Take photos, drink beer & talk shit but today I think I outdone myself. As you can see in the picture above I made this status this morning on the Tippos Cycles Facebook. As you can also see it would appear that we reached more then enough “likes” to get team member Ammon to jump of the shop roof. The thought has always been tossed around if anyone could jump of after watching many bonedeth sections on the interweb. I guess come next week we will see if it gets done? Ammon is pretty badass so I assume it will, even tho he had no idea about this….
Plus super stoked that it didnt reach the amont I called as I would have most likey got very owned…
Glewy stopped by the other day & refreshed his bike up a bit. He got a nice blue ColonyLivin frame & Some new Flybikes forks. Looks pretty nice & should be good for the run of comps coming up that he plans on going in. So check back & hopefully we can get some photos/news from his travels. Cheers for the photo to Glewy.
